OFFLINE TRAVEL PACK
Armenia essentials, even when the signal disappears.
Save the practical pages you are most likely to need on marshrutkas, trains, road trips and border-to-border travel. After one download, this pack works from your browser in airplane mode.
This pack saves the Armenia Essentials homepage, this offline card and every practical guide in English. Clearing browser site data removes the saved copy.
Download the 3-page Armenia Arrival & Travel Offline Cheat Sheet for your phone or for printing.
📲 Optional: add it to your home screen
Your browser may offer “Add to Home Screen” or “Install app”. This is optional — the saved pages work offline from the browser after download.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE WI-FI
Save these before an intercity or mountain trip
- Download an offline map for the whole route, not just Yerevan.
- Screenshot your accommodation name, phone number, map pin and address — ideally also in Armenian.
- Save the exact departure point for your marshrutka, bus or train.
- Keep some Armenian dram in cash for local transport, village shops and small guesthouses.
- Screenshot border and rental-car documents before a Georgia road trip.
- Save Armenia’s unified emergency number: 112.
MARSHRUTKA CHEAT SHEET
When local transport is less standardized
Yerevan has several bus and minibus departure points. Do not assume every route leaves from the same station.
Show the place name before boarding and confirm whether the vehicle goes to the town centre or a nearby junction.
Cash is the safest backup for marshrutkas and small intercity transport.
Large bags may be stored separately. Keep passports, cards and electronics with you.
If a departure is full or not running, check a train, shared taxi, Yandex Go or an overnight stop.
ROUTES TO SAVE
Sevan, Gyumri and Georgia
🏞️ Lake Sevan
Save the exact town or shoreline destination. “Lake Sevan” is a large area, so the best transport depends on where you are actually going.
🚆 Yerevan–Gyumri
Save your ticket, departure station and current timetable before leaving Wi-Fi. Train times can change.
🇬🇪 Armenia → Georgia
The land border is open, but a rental car needs cross-border permission and insurance. Save those documents offline.
🚧 Türkiye / Azerbaijan
Do not plan a normal tourist land crossing from Armenia into Türkiye or Azerbaijan. Save your alternative route before travelling.
EMERGENCY & ROAD TRIPS
If you have no data
📞 Emergency
Dial 112. Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs launched 112 as the unified police and rescue emergency number on 15 February 2026.
🗺️ Offline map
Download your entire route before leaving Yerevan or another large town. Mountain roads can have unreliable mobile data.
⛽ Fuel & weather
On rural trips, refuel early and check weather before losing coverage. Do not rely on one navigation app.
🏨 Address
Keep your accommodation name, phone number and Armenian address or map pin available offline.
MOBILE DATA
Local data is inexpensive — offline is still useful
Viva currently lists TOURIST UNLIM at 2,500 AMD for 15 days with unlimited internet, 300 minutes and 300 SMS. Team supports eSIM, including purchase at service centres with an identity document; remote My Team eSIM registration has eligibility limits, so tourists should not assume it can be completed before arrival.
YEREVAN ARRIVAL
Airport basics without data
✈️ Airport bus
Save your hotel address and current bus information before landing. Bus 100 is a useful budget option; schedules can change.
🚕 Yandex Go
Install and sign in before you need it. If mobile data fails, use an official taxi option or airport Wi-Fi.
💵 Cash backup
Have access to Armenian dram for small purchases and transport if a card or app fails.
MONEY
Armenia money card
- Currency: Armenian dram (AMD / ֏).
- Cards are common in Yerevan and larger businesses.
- Carry cash for marshrutkas, markets, villages and smaller guesthouses.
- Keep a second physical payment card as backup.
